First gibson

Hi, just in the process of buying my first gibson. The guitar is a1991 Gibson les Paul 40th anniversary in mint condition. When I learn how I will upload some pics, as I would like some opinions on the guitars authenticity. I have done a serial number check which turned out ok, but from what I hear that's no guarantee that's it's genuine

Sounds real nice! And welcome to the forum. Don't know what to tell you about loading photos anymore. Folks here used Photo Bucket to load them as it was free, then copied there and posted them here and it worked. Now they want an outrageous amount of money to do it so they won't accept doing that anymore. Others's have been experimenting with other sites so maybe someone can come along and help you with that.

When I bought my Les Paul Standard 1987, I also asked for photos of the guitar to avoid forgery. Here are a few tips on this:
Visit website, where you can free to check your coursework or any other and get a response with comments and corrections.
