jaxson50
This was recorded in the 40s before Les's arm was shattered in a car wreck, his right arm was saved, barely, but he had limited range of movement after the surgery to save it. His solo starts around 7:00 into to live recoding.
jaxson50
Sorry for the terrible video, but this is Les playing with Nat King Cole http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3Wacoim8MO8
merciful-evans
Thats what you have to put up with working with horns. Both the vids that Jaxson posted are music played in B flat. You get used to it, but it gets tedious after 20 years....
MichaelT
Ahhh.. So sweet :) Did anyone notice he broke a string around 4:45 or so? I've never actually seen a video of them but have heard some of their songs. Over the neck instead of under, harmonics, fast picking, showmanship. Very cool video. They looked like they were having fun back in those days.
