They sure did a nice job on this one. It's all original. Nothing's ever been touched. Needs a 3 prong plug and all new electrolytics....

Well, there's not much of a demand for those old heavy models but if no-one else wants it I suppose I might make you an offer....

Sure looks in great condition for a '66. You'd think there'd at least be a few cobwebs in there somewhere, or a scratch in the side. Looks showroom new. [thumbup]

 

They usually sound better when the grill cloth is nicotine stained, and the whole thing smells a little of stale beer. [tongue]

I had a '70 Princeton in that condition. It had the original RCA tubes and everything. It sat in a closet for 40 years until I bought it from an estate. It was so perfect I was afraid to use it and sold it for a decent profit. I'm not rich enough to keep stuff I don't use.

Here's some new filter caps and dropping resistors. The old resistors drifted a little. Those resistors are the only parts that will be replaced with something that's not original spec. Saving all the original parts to maintain the collector value.
