Gibsonfender
Hello I'd like to know when my Gibson Hummingbird was built (and some more info if possible) A local musicstore said it's from the 80's (info from serial nr.). I'm not sure if that's true. Here are some pictures. Thanx from Belgium

Can you also give some info on the guitar neck (backside ... not fred board) Is it Mahogany wood?

OldCowboy
A bit more info. Your serial number (beginning with the number 6 and containing a total of 6 digits) corresponds to one or the other of two intervals during the 1970's. 70-72 or 74-75. Gibson's numbering has always been noted for taking some odd twists and turns - so it's not uncommon for repetitions to occur in their older instruments. I can't be sure whether or not your tuning machines are the originals, not that it matters, from the posted pictures.
