JuanCarlosVejar
I think that with those two dents .This shoud be selling at 1,500 or 2000 max. He is trying to get a lefty who has his guard down selling at that price. Heck for that price I might as well try to order a brand new one from Bozeman. I may be desperate for a lefty J-180, but I'm not stupid. BTW the seller now went down with the price, still horrendously high for what's on offer. Leonard McCoy
The price has dropped to two grand now. Still a little high considering that that dent on the shoulder would need cleating and a proper touchup, the latter for the neck as well. However, we're slowly getting in the range of fair price. I would probably go for it after another cut to cover the repair costs, but alas he's not shipping overseas anyway. CITES would make that problematic as well, is my guess. J-200 Koa
I wonder if the CITES restrictions would affect a maple-bodied guitar? I realize the fingerboard is rosewood but I'm not sure the customs folks know the particulars. Coming from Canada, it might be less restrictive. In fact the future of guitar building will greatly fall upon that wood ... So as I stated before gibson will do well because it has worked and knows maple for decades.
