zombywoof
Even though I swore no more project guitars, I ran across another abused orphan I felt compelled to give a home to. This time it is a 1965-67 Silvertone 633 - a burst Harmony Sovereign 1260. Yeah, I am an oak. Problem is I am a real sucker for these Sovereigns. This one has the headstock busted clean off. Certainly fixable but if this Harmony is at all typical there is also a neck reset in its future. I am considering grabbing the neck off another Sovereign project that I have not yet made it around to. I could then take my time going about getting the busted one fixed and slap it on the other now neckless Sovereign. Just not sure what route I will take yet.
