OK OK so we all know what Gibson did in 2015 and I wouldn't have paid the price they wanted back then but on a pretty steep discount from Sam Ash I decided for the price I'd give it a go. After I set it up, this guitar is really impressive. I quite dig it! [thumbup]

Yep! [biggrin] Meets my preference, too. TV Yellow is the very finish for an LP Special! [wub]

Congrats,

I wanted to buy one of those when they came out, I thought I would like the wider neck but I tried one and it was not for me. Great guitar for sure.

Sweet...

How do you find the neck? For those who don't mind it, 2015s are a total bargain.

It's a little different didn't take long to bound with it at all. Very happy it came back around

I am really liking the Sam Ash deals on the 2015s. I like the finish on your DC.

about that wider neck. It works the other way around too.

I wouldn't touch Gibsons for years, because of the narrow short scale necks. But Ive been playing my 339 this evening; which is just such a beast, and am loving it. It actually didnt take that long to get used to it.

Now I can play both kinds and appreciate their respective strengths.

It does make a difference how long you've been playing. More experience = faster adaptability.

Knee jerk responses to a different design/build can be a missed opportunity...
