jdgm Posted August 24, 2017 Share Posted August 24, 2017 A great, great player. I saw him several times over the years and have around 20 albums - he was prolific. The Gateway reunion in 1994 was so amazing I saw them twice - Abercrombie with Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette. Unique sound, gentle and always totally identifiable. He will be much missed. R.I.P.
