I will be installing a pickguard on my Midtown Standard Hoping someone here can answer this for me. I will be installing a pickguard tomorrow and I will be doing it with a Kluson pickguard bracket. Now, the bracket comes with 3 screws. One which threads into a bolt for the top of the bracket and two others which are wood screws. One is a little longer than the other (see photo) and my question is, which one goes into the top and which one into the side? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would put the shorter one on top and the longer one in the side. How much of a difference in length are we talking? Thank you. You were correct. The short one goes up top.
