timmilesmusic
Hi all, Pretty simple question, are these lines normal on my 335 neck? I bought it used. There are symmetrically on both sides. I assume this is where the headstock connects the neck, but I wanted to check. Thanks so much :) http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll12/timmilesacoustic/image1_zpsolsksslv.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll12/timmilesacoustic/image3_zpsny0gdmxl.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll12/timmilesacoustic/image2_zpsbzcoe3yc.jpg
zHollywood
I'd be willing to bet that the previous owner had it resting on a wall hanger. Nitro often reacts overtime with many types of stands due to rubber parts releasing gasses over time. I've seen examples like yours and even others where it creates dark spots. donm1104
Looks to be just the headstock "wings"(wood added to the sides of the headstock to make it wider)
AnOctopus
Yep, my '15 335 has the same.
