Is the guitar new or used? It could be wired wrong or some kind of bypass has been put in.

 

First, use your selector switch and put it on your bridge pickup. Turn your tone button for that pickup, which is bottom knob, towards the right end of the guitar, as you're holding it. You probably know which knobs they are but just in case, I'm trying to be helpful. See if you notice in change in tone.

 

Then, use your pickup selector switch and put it on your neck pickup. Turn the tone button for that pickup, which is the top knob, closest to the right end of the guitar, as you're holding it. See if you notice a change on that pickup.

 

This will tell you which pickup is affected and it may be both. If they aren't working, take it to a qualified repair person if it's NOT in warranty. If you bought it new and it's in warranty, you can email Gibson at: service@gibson.com or call them at:
