RevDavidLee
I don't have Showtime so I guess I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD :(
Tman
That will be great. A lot of non musicians will think it is about alcoholism with the 12 bar title. maybe it is. I'll have to wait to see it too, like the Rev.
Versatile
Looks interesting and what a great title...... IMO Eric is a great artist and has a story to tell..... Again IMO blues can take you a long way and provide a career..... Probably more than any other bluesman, Eric embraced the celebrity, fashion culture of the 60's Hob-nobbing with the Beatles, Stones and Hendrix.....dating the most beautiful women around Lucky to survive the copious intake of alcohol and drugs.... Looking forward to it..... V
cookieman15061
Yeah, should be pretty good. I really enjoyed his autobiography from a few years back. He's had an unbelievable life of highs and lows but a survivor for sure.
sparquelito
A true survivor, and a man who can play the blues like no other guitar player can, simply because of the life he's lived. Like cookieman, I really enjoyed reading Eric's autobiography. I found it amazing, and it looks like this biopic will be just as amazing.

Drog
I just saw EC in NYC at MSG. He was awesome! The guy can play some tasty pentatonics.
charlie brown
Should/Could be interesting, although EC is a bit like "The Beatles," in that there is SO MUCH information out there already, that it will be interesting to see, how this documentary puts it all together, and...what more there is to learn/know??? But, I've been a "Clapton" fan, since his Yardbird days! The "Beano" John Mayall album just cemented it, for me. So, I'm looking forward to seeing this, new info or not! Rabs
So, I'm looking forward to seeing this, new info or not! CB From what I saw it seems to be a bit of a warts an all documentary... Possibly a bit more personal than some other biopics.. If it comes on Netflix I will definitely watch it.

If it comes on Netflix I will definitely watch it. Well Eric's never been one to runaway from his shortcomings. He admits at times he was a miserable cuss and treated those who loved him rather poorly. Of course alcohol will do that to a person.

Dennis G
Do my eyes deceive me or is that Betty Davis on the sofa....? Angela Davis, maybe (assuming your talking about the opening shot), Betty would have been not only caucasian, but substantially older than EC.
