Just picked up my first Custom shop guitar with a somewhat limited run of 200. Do CS guitars hold their value or because the retail price point is higher do they immediately drop off in value? Not that I'm looking to retire off it but I'm just curious.

I think they hold their value pretty well. I only have experience selling one, but I bought it new in 2002 for about $3000 and sold it a few months ago, 15 years later, for $2800. It was in perfect condition so I think if you take care of it, it will hold it's value well.
