Origin of Les Paul Deluxe 1977

I have a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1977 at hand. Mini humbuckers, wine red, and apparently 3 part mahagony neck and full body. The ID number is 06113081. The numbering from 75 to 77 was intermediate, and not as the system introduced in late 1977, where the tre last digits tell at what factory the guitar is made.

Can anybody tell if this guitar was made in Kalamazoo or Nashville?

Nashville.

I quote from Tony Bacon's "The Les Paul Guitar Book";

"...the (Nashville) factory eventually opened in June 1975.....The original intention was (for) the new Nashville plant (to be) producing acoustic guitars (but) management decided to transfer to Nashville the production of the bulk of the Les Paul line.

Kalamazoo was more flexible and had the potential to specialise in small runs. Nashville was therefore the obvious choice to produce the highest-volume models in Gibson's solid-body line at the time - The Les Paul Custom and Les Paul DeLuxe..."

Only a very few specialist and/or limited-run Les Paul models were produced in Kalamazoo post-1975.

Thank you! It has also been said that the Kalamazoo workers continued with the 6-digit system on their production, so this adds up.
