Aura Guitar PLUS iRig Acoustic Stage

Guitar with Aura and iRig together to add 'air' to the Aura..... only mic involved in the recording is the iRig clip thing.

I did a slow blues thing, to hear the notes better hopefully, with my Martin D18E Retro with built in Aura system (No 7. large Neumann mic sound image to be exact) and my iRig Acoustic Stage attached (little mic thing clipped to the soundhole) and ran each to a channel of my 4 track mixer with eq flat, but added some reverb and out (by USB) to my iMac and Garageband:

Dual Source!

Thanks Dan, though some might think it had a tomato sauce AND barbecue sauce, it is my home made 'dual sourcing' because nobody wants to sell me a real one here in eastern Mars, or a Tonedexter for that matter... [mellow]

So here is another track with the J45 this time - standard Baggs Element set up run to my Fishman Aura Spectrum DI with a J45 sound image recorded with a 'Soundelux E37' they tell me, and then I added the iRig Acoustic Stage with the pick shaped mic thingo in the soundhole, ran to my mixer/ iMac/Garageband as previous track.

(One advantage of the D18E with inbuilt Aura is I just need one guitar lead, but with the J and Aura and outs and ins and...running out of leads!)

So another slow blues thing with the J45:
