Hello everybody, I've found an epi eb3 Ltd edition 1960's custom shop bass second hand . I want to buy it. I love the shape of it and I'm a Gibson SG Bass fan. The only thing that makes me stop doing this is the wood quality . I'm still not sure if it's solid mahogany or laminated wood. Does anybody knows anything about it ? Because there is a massive sound and weight difference between epiphone eb3 and Gibson eb3 . And some people says that it's laminated plywood. What do you think? If it's solid mahogany body I'll replace the mudbucker with 1972 fender telecaster humbucker . But if the body is not solid, then there's no need to do this operation. Thanks .

From the things I've seen it's solid mahogany.
