DanofNJ Posted November 24, 2017 Share Posted November 24, 2017 I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2014 Les Paul Standard Plus. Beautiful AAAA and Grover Tuners. ProBuster x2 Humbuckers. I'd like to ask the group what they think of the 2014 model, and what I should triple check before I Purchase. I checked out the serial with Gibson and it matches the guitar. Thanks for the help. IanHenry Posted November 24, 2017 Share Posted November 24, 2017 Hi Dano, Welcome to the forum. I have a 2014 traditional and it's great, build quality, sound and playability are top notch. I know some people at the time took a dislike to the anniversary scroll on the 12th fret marker but I quite like it. I think there's a common misconception that Gibson's from one year are better than another year, but the only difference to me is that the specification changes.
