The J45 Donovan is Faded Cherry Sunburst with Gibson’s shiny nitro finish. Like the real deal. Not a satin finish. It is an ADJ bridge w/ tusq. Regarding extra string-ends, it depends. As a young man I often never even rolled them up. But now this picture-thing bugs me. How much was missed since I changed to imgur.
