The standard issue 339 head-stocks are still SMALL when compared to the Regent, Broadway and Sheraton headstocks.

I bought one of the last prod runs Regents in 2010. I do like that one.. Plan to hold on to it. They can be hard to come by.

I also have a 2012 broadway that's been listed a few times on eBay,, apparently, the interested "window shoppers" are waiting for me to GIVE it away
it's a great player, but just not getting much use in my crib.

Yes, I too much prefer the old (Kalamazoo) type headstocks, on Sheraton guitars. The earlier, more Gibson like,
or the later one, prior to 1970, when they went overseas. We can hope/dream, they'll bring those back, I guess?

The headstocks on the AIUSA Sheratons are a real thing of beauty, imho.

Perfect size, shape, & inlays.

Although similar overall, there are clear differences in execution.

Of course, the same could be said of the whole guitar. After drooling repeatedly over CB's, I happened to have come across a near mint 2000 sunburst w//Frequensator a number of years ago, and it will never be sold. Incredible feel & workmanship on the fingerboard - your fingers virtually float over it.

Anyone having the opportunity to sample one of these should absolutely check it out.

I DO wish Epiphone would use that AIUSA headstock, on ALL Sheraton models. But, then again, "I" wish they'd do the
correct spec's, down to the 2 hole TRC, and Gibson truss rod. They're making really nice Chinese, Korean, and Indonesian
examples, so I don't really care, that much, WHERE they're made. Only that they be spec correct, to the originals.
But, again, that's just ME! [tongue] [biggrin]

It's a bass, I know, but considering what the older ones are going for, right now, there's got to be a market for them. In natural, of course.

Another thing I'd like to see, again, is another version of the '62 Sheraton, with mini-humbuckers, that more "Gibson like"
headstock, and (again) the 2 hole TRC and Gibson style Truss Rod. With color options, of Walnut, Vintage Cherry, Natural,
and Vintage (body outlined) Sunburst, with option of stop bar, frequensator, and Bigsby tailpieces. Too much, to ask/hope for?
Time will tell. [biggrin]

YES!!! In Short Scale! They had a reissue, several years ago...what happened to it? I could NEVER find one, in ANY color, in any of the Gibson/Epiphone dealers,
I looked into in Kansas, Colorado, or Oklahoma. [tongue] [cursing] [crying]

I'd buy one in a second... (in natural, of course). These single pickup ones seem the most "right", to me.

I vote for a real Epi guitar, not a Gibson copy

For once i kind of agree, ditch the seemingly endless variations of Lp. Make coronet and wilshire standard models instead.
Also get the message and make sheraton and riviera 'correct' spec with minis and varitone.
