Lars68
Here is a song I recorded last night, on my 75 year old J-45. The song is perhaps the weirdest one I have written, but the old guitar has a tone I dearly love. It has nickel/bronze strings on, and sounds extra dry and eeire, which kind of suits the song. I love this instrument. I usually post songs looking for some kind of advice, due to not being content with what I have done. This time is different, I actually like this tune, in all it's weirdness, for what it is. The singing is probably no better than my usual efforts, but I can live with it Lars

zombywoof
Hey, I liked it. And if there is one thing about old mahogany body guitars - they do develop a dry snap that you just do not hear on the younger versions.
E-minor7
It's an interesting song, Lars ^ however your vocal still doesn't sweep it all way up. There are corners in need of inspection. Pretty hard, it will be good exercise. Keep rollin'
Lars68
Thanks everyone! Yes vocals are shakey. I will continue to work at it, but I doubt I will ever sing effortlessly, but who knows... Lars
