I do like them. I have played a Fender Esprit. The guy that owns it sold me my Squire Esprit. I was able to play them side by side to compare. The feel was identical. The sound was almost identical. The Squires were made in S Korea. Every MIK guitar I have played (so far anyway) has been exceptional.

I since replaced the SD Designed pickups with lower output Creamery Dominos (single coils in HB casing). The bridge was hard to adjust (no screw slots) so I I upgraded that plus Tailstop also.

It is a beautifully designed & crafted model. A Gibson styling obviously, but with a straight string path at the headstock, and a light chambered body that is as loud as my 339 acoustically.

Here it is post-mod
