Stew64 Posted April 23, 2018 Share Posted April 23, 2018 Hello, I recently purchased this 2016 Les Paul Standard pre-loved. Seller indicated that it is a Limited Edition with '57 pickups, but I can find no reference to it on the Gibson website's catalog. One tip off could be that it does not have a ring around the pickup switch like the walnut top Limited Edition that is listed. Serial # is 160040491. Stew64 Posted April 24, 2018 Author Share Posted April 24, 2018 Hey thanks for the help guys. I got an email from Gibson CS this morning. Based on the serial number their records show it as Mahogany body with AAA flamed maple top, '60s neck profile with compound radius fingerboard, and Burstbucker Pro pickups with coil taps. It is not a "Limited Edition", but for what I paid for it pre-loved in mint condition ($1000 under list) and the way she looks and sounds I'm still cool with it!
