A new home recorded song

MR GIBS

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

Lyrics are in bulgarian language (my native) so I give you some translation here:

Loneliness

The rain is flogging on the pavement

Requiem for an unfortunate soul

When there's no one to tell to

I will tell it to to you, Loneliness

Waves from the quay

And goes away from meThe Love

When there's no one to live with

I will live with you, Loneliness

I fill two glasses with ouzo

The New Year dances in the snow

If there's no one to celebrate with

I'll celebrate with you, Loneliness

The rain is flogging on the pavement

Requiem for an unfortunate soul

When there's no one to tell to

I will tell to you, Loneliness

I stringed the J45 with 13/56 Ph Br Elixir strings.

I tuned the instrument one tone below (D, A, F, C, G, D).

The capo on second fret is an "open D" Kyser capo.

So I play the song in open D.

This is a good way to play in open D and play normally barre chords with all the six strings.

Mr Gibs - Great song. Really like the 'fill two glasses with ouzo reference... ' Also like the strumming, you make it look easy - and it does sound good. If I'm not mistaken don't you also do a lot of fingerpicking as well? - regardless, thought it was really good, liked the J-45, хубави неща (nice stuff).
