Inspired by ‘55 “aged gloss ebony”

As you might presume from the title I have an Inspired by ‘55 LPC and aside from the fret ends the guitar is great. I just don’t like the look of the finish. Has anyone tried, or does anyone know, if the “aged gloss” (matte) finish can be buffed to a true gloss?

yes my fret ends on my 55 LPC are ruff .to .

thought you might enjoy this video of a satin epi dot polished out using turtle wax rubbing compound.
