Sdahe
Hey guys, I bought a used 2005 Custom Shop R7 Les Paul and it didn't had the Gibson Custom Shop certificate. Is there a way I could get a copy from Gibson?
dh2087
I'm pretty sure they would want to verify it is authenticate before issuing any new certificates. You might have to send them your guitar for this.

Frozen Rat
Hey guys, I bought a used 2005 Custom Shop R7 Les Paul and it didn't had the Gibson Custom Shop certificate. Is there a way I could get a copy from Gibson? You shouldn't worry about it. I think from that year it was just a 8.5x11 typed piece of paper anyway. Given that these can be easily faked, I think they are only worth the paper they are printed on.
gampadoug
Traded emails with a Gibson reb a little over a year ago who informed me that ES moddles, prior to 2008, did not ship with a COA. Not sure how that applies to The Paul.
