Buc McMaster Posted May 14, 2018 Share Posted May 14, 2018 Well I finally hit upon the lyrical twist I have been searching for with this one.........sometimes it's nice to surprise the listener by turning in another direction conceptually. As I mentioned before, the verse is an attempt at capturing the mind of a young man upon encountering a pretty woman, but the refrain turns what appears to be utter surrender on his part into a bit of an insult. And now I'm wondering if this needs any further lyrical exploration as the point has been made.......another verse of the same would not be the setup for the refrain that the first already is. Any opinions? Input?
