Very nice to have two different voices in instruments that feel almost identical in-hand. Expecting the Colosi saddle in today's mail so I can get down to finalizing the setup of the J-35. Buc McMaster Posted June 4, 2018 Author Share Posted June 4, 2018 Well the bone saddle was a bust........dialed up the high end considerably......not a sound I want. Quite unpredictable what a different saddle material will do an instruments' tone........just because it's bone, that don't make it right. So the original tusq is back in the slot and all is well once more. And yes, the 45 is a Vintage model, a couple years on now.
