Flying V Headstock on SG

Defiled

Recommended Posts

Ran into these images recently on Facebook of Gibbons with a new SG very similar to his 61’ reissue.

I love gathering random info and I can’t seem to pin point this guitar origins

(Though it’s probably custom shop only).

Just wondering if anyone loves the allure of these breadsticks, I feel it compliments

The SGs horns. I was able to find 3 examples, with absolutely no info

on the specific axe. Here’s what I was able to gather, anyone know a little bit more

and is willing to educate ? Bolin also didn’t take credit for this SG (has historic TRC).

I assumed his original SG suffered some headstock break but it doesn’t have the same tribal lines.

I’m assuming a frankestine of that old custom shop? 2015(?) custom shop. Anyways I found it interesting. Nice day to you guys!
