Stew Mac is crazy sometimes. they charge like 100 bucks for a fret scale length gauge straight edge (good for checking your relief for critical setups.. What I always wondered about was that neck heater Stewmac used to sell that was made by LMI. It clamped onto the neck and used heat and pressure to straighten it out. Dave F Posted June 15, 2018 Share Posted June 15, 2018 It came out great. I have a Custom from 1984 made to the pre-war specs. Brazilian, German Spruce, thick neck, bar frets, herringbone.
