bryantjudoman
Just picked up a 2011 southern jumbo Woody Guthrie. Sounds just like the j-45 I let go (then regretted terribly). Will post a few pics soon. Now my 1962 hummingbird never has to leave the house...ever. Until I sell it lol.

zombywoof
Congrats! Cannot explain it but of the Bozeman-made SJs the Guthrie & Kristofferson guitars are my favorites coming in only behind the 2013 Banner reissue. Just strange as neither of the signature guitars has much in common with the originals these guys played other than cosmetics. Go figure. And I hope you were jesting about the Bird as I own Gibsons quite a bit older than your Hummingbird I would not keep them around if I was afraid to take them out of the house. Granted though the Banner does live in an Ameritage case these days.

Dave F
I haven’t played a Guthrie yet. I have the Kris Kristofferson and a Dwight Yoakam and like them both. I think I like the Dwight a little better because of the rosewood b&s and the rolled fingerboard. Everyone who plays the Dwight wants to buy it from me.
