Hummingman
Hello everyone. I am a retired computer geek whose passion is playing guitar and singing. No where near what I would call professional, but I have fun. I own a 1969 Hummingbird which I bought new when I was 19 in 1969. Still have original hard shell case. This guitar has aged well and is still my favorite. I also have a Taylor DN3, Johnson mandolin, dulcimer, and violin. I also play bass, but currently do not own one. I have have a small home studio set up and do all music and vocals myself. I use a Vocalist Live 3 for the harmony parts. I joined to learn from others about guitars, techniques and just gain some general knowledge.
jdgm
Hello and welcome. Sounds like you have a nice guitar and know what you are doing. Check out the acoustic section; I'm sure they'd love to see pics of your Hummingbird and (even) the case. To show pics on the forum you have to join a photosharing site (Imgur, Postimage etc), upload your pics to there and cut/paste the links they provide into your posts. No-one uses Photobucket anymore since they started charging for online storage. I'm sure you will have no problem! Best wishes.
sparquelito
Hummingman, welcome. I live in Harvest, Alabama. We share similar interests. I'm a bandleader with a few gigs coming up. Let me know if you ever want to get together and swap stories and tell lies at each other. The first round is on me. :)
