339 vs Wildkat case

I found a really great deal on a brand-new condition 339 case. Does anyone here know if my Wildkat will fit? From what I've gathered from the web, the Wildkat is only about 1/4 inch wider/longer than the 339 so it seems like it should squeeze in, but I'd like to be sure.

I can't answer the OP's question if his guitar will fit in the case he is looking at, but I can tell you that there are different Epiphone branded cases for WildKat and Alleykat than the other semi-hollowbody and hollowbody guitars. I assume that the guitars are sized differently. If it were me, I would want a case made to fit my guitar and would not want my guitar in a case that is too tight, but works, or with some extra room to spare.

Epiphone EHLCS for Wildkat and Alletlat:

Epiphone E519 for Dot, Casino, Riviera, etc.:

P.S. - I own the E519 case for my Epiphone Riviera Custom P93 guitar and it fits perfectly.

My WildKat Studio does nicely fit into the Gibson ES-359 case. So the ES-339 case is probably worth a try.

Btw.: Thanks for bringing up that topic, I was looking for a WildKat case as well, but did not think about trying the ES-359 case I already own. One item less on the shopping list :-)

Ok I'm having fun polishing my PhotoShop skills.. Comparing the 339 and Wildkat.. The overall outline is very similar.. Epiphone product shots are setup with fingerboard flat on to the camera so the neck and headstock are not too distorted.. So I aligned to the neck on both guitars.. What I seem to notice is that the Wildkat may have a steeper neck angle where it attaches to the body an might require a deeper case... maybe... [confused]
