BluesKing777
I am always banging on about Matons being the best 'plug and play' guitars for live playing, so putting my money where my mouth is - here are a few chords played direct to my new Baggs Align EQ pedal to try it and then to my mixer/iMac. Most locals play these in various configs....most pubs would have someone pounding away on a Maton dread, but you can get a whole range of them and they all seem to come with the same pickup system - from standard small bodies to dreads and jumbos right up to full custom shop guitars. I think they may all get the identical size neck too. So the pickup is dual source with a piezo under every string and a mic in the soundhole, pity I can't get a giant V neck that I like on the old Gibson...but the standard Maton neck is similar to new Gibsons...a touch wider at the nut than a Martin. https://soundcloud.com/bk7-3/matoneq777 BluesKing777. QuestionMark
That was really good! Great tone, playing, and use of percussion dynamics in your playing. The pickup sounded very good, too. QM aka Jazzman Jeff
BluesKing777
Thanks QM! I intended to put a bit of strum in there to highlight how the pickup grabs it very nicely.... BluesKing777.
