Well, that's pretty cool! It kinda reminds me of the traditional use of Melodic Minor where the scale ascends in Melodic Minor but, descends in Natural Minor. It might be cool to try ascending in Lydian and descending in Ionian to get that leading tone sound going up...

The scales are very entertaining to be able to look for new combinations.
