Johnny47usa
I am the original owner of a Country Western, purchased in1968, but I’m not sure of the year it was made. Found one web site that indicated either 1963 or 1967. Serial number is 109952. Anyone know how I can find out the correct year?
retrorod
As you say, that serial # was used in 63 and 67. My guess would be a 1967 if you are the original owner and bought it in '68. Is the belly on the bridge on the top towards the strings? Is the neck profile skinny? I bet its a great guitar!
aliasphobias
'63 should have been 1 11/16" nut width, '67 1 9/16" or possibly 1 5/8". 1963 was the most popular year for the plastic bridges. Pictures may be of some help here.

Pictures may be of some help here. Nut is 1 9/16, so I guess it is a 1967. Sure is a great guitar. I have kept it in real good condition and with no mods.
