Everybody mentions Gruhns guitar shop and it's great but Carter's Vintage Guitars is no slouch and they are in the same general part of town, not too far apart.

Yeah, they get some nice old Gibsons and Martins, among others, both acoustic and electric. I get notifications from them every couple of days.

Country Music Hall of Fame for sure. Was lucky enough to visit the Gibson plant (335+ and Les Paul Customs) and visit the store where you could indeed test out EVERYTHING Gibson. Rare treat to play a Birdseye Super 200 but also fun to crank a Zakk Wilde LP Custom through a marshall! Good times. Oh and the biscuits at Loveless Cafe will make you think you died and went to heaven. Have fun and say HI to George for me. (be sure you make it upstairs)

Hard to believe that dude is 65. Being a rock musician is supposed to wear on you, like it's done on Mick and Keef.

I'll have whatever he's having.

....On the 7th we are going to The Grand Ole Opry and performing will be the legend Emmylou Harris....

Have a great trip, FZ! I wonder if she's still got Phil Kaufman as her road manager. (I'm in one of the photos in his book. Posted Image)

DId a trip there about two or three years ago. I think I could live there.
This little gal waited on us at Margaritaville. My wife was ready to adopt her.
I think everyone there is looking for their big break.

I don't know if I could watch Emmylou perform, I might wind up be a stalker.
We got to see a lot of greats on the Opry (Skaggs, Gil, John Conlee, Charlie Daniels, Mel Tillis Jeannie Seely plus many more) and did a behind the scenes tour of the Ryman.
Don't forget to visit the American Pickers store.
I also recommend one of those golf cart tours around town.
If I had a little more in my guitar fund, I would had walked out of Gruhn's with a '55 Roundup.
Have fun.

Ran into Derek St Holmes at Carter's Vintage Guitars. He was busy and I only got to say hey and shake his hand.
