Making the most of a broken neck

I did my first neck repair on a Cort 12 string last week. I bought it as scrap for£10 and thought it was worth a try.

Loosened truss rod, used wood glue glue, clamped overnight.

Tightened the truss rod again and Hey Presto.

Really chuffed with myself.

Ah good news! A bit of wood glue, a few clamps, and some time, and back in bizz.. I've seen some headstock repairs from some of the guys round here, that, if they didn't tell you it was a repair, you simply would not know...

 

A pretty good way to snag a real nice piece for low dough if you can get past the "history"
