Vatta
I bought this instrument at an auction and would like to know exactly what it is now.
ksdaddy
It might be a nice instrument but it is not a Gibson. It's not even a copy of any particular Gibson, past or present. Hopefully you didn't pay a lot for it.
Vatta
No, I bought you at a very cheap auction. It has a wonderful sound is masterfully crafted, so no cheap China junk. I am thrilled. Thank you for your nice answer. Vatta from Germany
sparquelito
Vatta, Das ist eine wunderschöne Gitarre. Jemand hatte es geschafft, einer Gibson-Gitarre zu ähneln, vielleicht als Tribut. Sehr sehr nett. Aber es ist definitiv kein Gibson. Play it proudly, and make much happy rock and roll with it!! :)
gnappi
It's Les Fake. Given that it looks pretty well done, I would "think" that the maker would not WANT to go so over the top with the 60's/ 70's Ibanez glitz. I wonder if that thick binding in the cutaway is actually covering a top slab that thick.
Revolution Six
WASHBURN ? YAMAHA ? IBANEZ ?
eclecticsynergy
To me it looks as if the body shape was inspired by a Hamer Sunburst; it has similar cutaways. I like the abalone at the edges of the fretboard and around the headstock. These days that type of inlay is mostly being done by the Chinese builders, because labor is cheap there and there are is regulation about harvesting abalone. It's a shame it has a fake logo - since it's a good instrument the maker should have had pride enough to put their own name there. Especially since the guitar could never pass for a Gibson.
