cbasirl
Hi there, I have an ES 339 that is unlike any other I have ever seen. It has block inlays with split inlays at the 12th fret. I have not found a single other one like this online with the 2 blocks at the 12th fret. Has anyone ever seen this before? By the serial number it is a 2010 model. I picked it up second hand so just trying to find out more info on it. It also came with a pickguard but no mounting bracket and only one hole drilled for one. Is that how they ship? Wmachine
Helps for you to give as much info as possible. What is the serial number? Should tell what year it was made.
moosesyr
A”one off” or special order? Cool though. Enjoy.
badbluesplayer
Never seen one like that. The block inlays, the roller bridge and the lack of a pickguard are all non-stock features.
FemmeParallell
Additionally to what you already mentioned usually they dont come with that nut
cbasirl
Thanks for the replies. Sorry I should have mentioned that I do know the previous owner replaced the nut with an Earvana nut. I guess he may have done the roller bridge at the same time? I dont have the guitar in front of me for the serial but I'll post that when Im home in case that helps clarify things. It was particularly the strange block inlay and the pickguard not being installed that I was wondering about. So possibly a custom order? Now I have to figure out how to install the pickguard! Thanks again.
