pabs
Hi guys. I keep reading that the current Kramer Baretta Vintage has a thick C shape neck. I don't have chance to try one locally, so I was wondering if anybody knew the neck dimensions? I'm used to Charvel's and I had to get rid of a Gibson SG Standard with a rounded profile neck because it was just too big for me, so I don't want to make the same mistake with a Kramer. Thanks. Stewart D.
For what it is worth, i just calipered mine, with strings tightly pressed in the grip, and the depth of the neck at the 7th fret is .89 inches. 1.87 in width. The neck does not have a compound radius. I might fairly call it a moderately thick c shape. The flatness of the fretboard also lends a feeling of "roominess" between strings. I don't know if this helps at all. S
