Wade
I just purchased a used 2005 Rosewood J-45. This is my first Gibson - it sounds great and looks beautiful. I'd like to replace the stock tuners (gold Grovers) with tuners that look more like the vintage style tuners included with the mahogany J-45s. Something like this - or perhaps Waverlys like this - http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Guitar,_solid_peghead_tuners/6/Waverly_Guitar_Tuners/Pictures.html#details. Any recommendations? I'd like to be able to install them myself without making any modifications to the guitar.
58LG2
I'd prefer the separates myself, rather than 3 in a row....something like this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Vintage-Nickel-Machine-Heads-with-Pearloid-Buttons?sku=306088&src=3SOSWXXA
