theblackparade Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 I inherited an old Gibson from my step-mom, I think I've determined that it was created in '87, based on the serial number (81487520). The problem is, other than that and "Gibson," I can't find any other text on it that might indicate what type of guitar I am playing. It doesn't look like any Gibson I recognize, I'm almost positive it's not a les paul, probably not an SG either. Definitely not an explorer or thunderbird. The question is, then, what is it?
