Short Scale Maple AJ - Anyone tried one?

I played a Maple J45, which is fairly close in terms of everything except the forward-shifted bracing pattern of the AJ, and that was a truly STELLAR instrument.

I would have bought it in a second if I'd had the money at the time...I'm considering ordering a custom made one, I liked the one I tried so very much.

The maple adds a little brilliance, but none more than is, IMHO, often needed in certain J45s. The bottom end was massive, the trebles bell-like, and the mids velvety and very slightly scooped.

I'm approaching guitargasm just talking about it!
