Dotneck
I saw the photo too. I used to have one but sold it. It was a beautiful 12 fret rosewood/spruce model with block inlays on the fret board, a torch inlay on the headstock and a bound neck and headstock. Pretty limited quantity. Wish I could have kept it...
TheLiveSoundGuy
I found this one in the Acoustic photos thread. In fact Dotneck, you were the one who posted it. It's was originally posted by Onewilleyfool. Here was the original post: The three Parlor amigos (L to R).....Washburn R-316' date=' Washburn R-308, 100 year old Washburn/Lyon&Healy [img']http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u203/onewilyfool/IMGP0001.jpg[/img] The RARE Gibson L-20 (100 year anniversary model) (rosewood b&s)
Rambler
JG-there was a thread on this in the old forum (too bad the archive went down with the old site). Anyway, as I recall, everyone seemed to think the thing was exceptional sweet/rich but not especially loud/projective. Sounds about right (concert body, short scale RW). Kind of like a kid bro to your Smeck! Probably less treble than a Martin 00-28 (which is more AJ-like, ie more note separation). jk Harmony Central review here reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Gibson/L20/10/1 - 23k -
