Identifying Pickups - 57Classic or Burstbuckers

In my 2002 LPS they're supposed to be, I believe burstbucker pickups. However they have the "Patent Applied for" decal on the back, the same as 57 Classics, and no other identification marks or part numbers. How do I tell the difference? I ask because I want to try some other Gibson PU's ,so I need to define exactly what I have first.

I don't think a picture would help, nothing on the back but the "Patent Applied For" decal. I wish they would punch the part number into the mount or something. I suppose I'll just have to assume they're burstbuckers. They are significantly hotter than the pickups on my ES-135LE ang Reissue 61 SG that I know have 57 Classics.
