Nice mate. I'm counting down the daze...see you swapped out your TRC for a blank too. I'm thinking of the same, but have already gotten a cream plastic jack plate on order to replace w/the chrome one. Me no likee.

Here's mine: DSC01016.jpg

It's an '09 Ice Tea made/stamped in December. Just got her 3 weeks ago.

I noticed you changed the knobs to top hats and added a blank TRC. I'm trying to figure out if I want

to make some minor chages like that too. Are those more in line with what a '59 style would look like?

And what about adding the metal pointers?

Our Ice Teas were made a year apart. Mine was finished on the 23rd of December 08. The flame on yours is sweet!

I don't care to much for the speed knobs, I'm more of a top hat fan. It's hard to see in the pics, but I also added the metal pointers under the knob. The only place I could find the pointers was at Stu Mac. I also put on a blank historic TRC. I love the look of the historic Lesters...

Those Bursts are beautiful.

I'm thinking the Traditional may be the best value in a Gibson. Of course,

this being my first Gibson, I sort of have to say that. Seriously, with the

color choices, p/u's, binding, neck (losve the chunkyness), quality, what

else could anyone want?

How's that for appreciation?

+1 on everything you say. I just got my LP Traditional in Gold Top and I love it, the 57 humbuckers and the neck sealed the deal for me.

Seeing the pics of the burst really makes me want another LPTraditional. IMO, top notch LP in all respects and I played alot of LP's to find this one.
