They used to do tours on Fridays. Have you tried calling over there?

Last summer they were doing them on Wednesdays or something because the factory was only open 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday. But yes, they do give tours that you have to sign up for before hand as they do book up in advance.

The Nashville factory does tours. the times for the Nashville Gibson tours are posted. Once you show for the tour you will be turned away because they never mentioned that you had to make reservations in advance. Beware.
I'm glad Gibson was raided by the Gov. . .

My brothers and I toured the Memphis factory a few years ago and I enjoyed it a lot.
I took the rest of the week off and I want to go somewhere ... what could be finer than Bozeman in late winter?
I'll listen to Ian Tyson on the way.

Same thing happened to me. I drove 20 hours to get to Memphis for the tour and they are like were booked up, didn't even have the slightest bit of remorse. But I'm over it, the trip was worth it in my opinion, saw a lot of cool stuff and played some great guitars.
