aeiouy
Hello ! What are the difference between a regular LPR9 and an Aged Murphy LP ? Is it only about the look ? Or does the Murphy have better qualities such as the playability, the acoustic, the weight, the sustain, the accuracy etc..... What can justify the purchase of such a guitar ? How many LPR9 Murphy are producted a year ? Many thanks Kind regards
Zaphod B
The aged Murphy treatment is cosmetic only. There is no difference between the Murphy's and the non-aged base guitar except the appearance. No electronics are changed, the wood is the same, etc. Justification? Who knows? It's not for me, but for sure there are people out there willing to pay a lot of money for an artificially aged instrument.
