The description of one of the 335's on the Gibson website - the "335 Block Inlay" - says that it has a 24" scale. The website must be wrong.

They probably just made a mistake. [crying]

No doubt...one of Fender's ads for the Precision (toward the end of the CBS era) claimed that it had a scale length of 46.25," about a foot and a quarter inch longer than actual.

Generally speaking, Gibson has used three scale lengths for electrics (not counting "three-quarter" models, mostly inexpensive solid body electrics from the '60s): 23.5" for the Byrdland and its contemporary ES-350, 24.6" for LPs, SGs, 335s and most other non-jazz electrics, and 25.5" for the jazzbos.

I have the Gibson CS-336 Model and that's also a 24" scale.
