retrorod
For 7 grand you would think that they would have sprung for a few more pics for a buck-twenty-five! Jeesh!!
ballcorner
Awesome post! I haven't had such a good laugh over eBay in a long time. I take it the guy's second home is either in Helsinki or Prague because of all the Finnish Czeching - not to mention how you can bid with confidence on that golden goose egg feedback rating of zero. I guess the positive is that the guy has no negative feedback - yet. That was so much pun.
TWilson
Did the 90th Anniv. J-45 come with a pickguard that looks like it was shaped with an exacto knife while on a sail boat? The fret markers are goofy too! I'd love to see the headstock.
ksdaddy
It's called a J45 Celebrity. They made them around 1984. They also made a J200 Celebrity. Sorry about the crappy pics, they were hastily snapped and uploaded (I don't have a scanner).
jannusguy
It's called a J45 Celebrity. i've seen at least one more of these listed on ebay recently. didn't follow too closely but i believe it went for much less than 7K.

Guia
$7000 is much too high, nice guitar, but....... For that price it should be a 40s model.
ksdaddy
For $7000 they should throw in a 3 year old Taurus to drive it home in.

TommyK
The PG would look really good on one of those Epiphones with the asymetrical headstock crowns.

TWilson
Earlier in this thread I said the pickguard on the Celebrity was the ugliest I'd ever seen. I'm taking it back as it's been in some pretty good company. Wait for the song to start and check it out.
rscott4079
Hey, the Beatles J-160e has been discounted a whopping $3500! It's now only $1499. A great deal for a smashed up and completely useless guitar. Cheaper J-160e with a few problems
